Gearing up for the 3rd edition of the Red Sea Festival
Cinemoz is heading to the 3rd edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) to announce our new slate of original Film & TV, and some exciting developments on acquisitions & distribution.
DEVELOPMENT
From global streamers to local partners, we’re looking to consolidate exciting international co-productions on Film & TV projects that either cater directly to Arabic speaking audiences, or push for Middle Eastern stories and talent in international territories.
This year at RSIFF, Cinemoz Studios will be announcing its upcoming Feature film projects; including Arab Zombie Wedding satire ZHABIBI, the first Saudi-led Scifi Space thriller LEMNOS, and R-Rated serial killer Mockumentary RABIH TV starring “Al Hayba” lead actor Said Serhan.
Additional Original TV Series projects this year include new Middle Eastern Art Heist drama PALMYRA, set between Lebanon, Syria, France and Denmark; or the newly acquired rights of H.P. Lovecraft's Chronicles for adaptation, in partnership with Paris-based production company The Project.
ACQUISITIONS / DISTRIBUTION
Cinemoz On Demand is expanding its content horizons and welcoming new tiers, as we will be transitioning from an ad-supported Video On Demand (AVOD) model to transactional VOD models (TVOD) and even a VOD model in which the user can own their own piece of content (we like to call it NFTVOD or OVOD).
The team at Cinemoz is building the industry's first OVOD model, an open and decentralized VOD powered by blockchain, where users can own films or series and resell the content on Cinemoz Marketplace. Below is a sneak peek of our very own ReelWallet & NFTVODs, which we will be launching very soon.
Cinemoz is also looking to acquire titles for the full VOD cycle while at RSIFF.
