Talal Selhami and Jawed Lahlou Return with 'Zhabibi'

Franco-Moroccan director Talal Selhami and co-writer Jawed Lahlou, creative duo best known for the acclaimed Achoura (2018), will team up again to write and direct Arab dark comedy 'Zhabibi'. The film is currently in the development stage at Cinemoz Studios and draws inspiration from the likes of ‘Triangle of Sadness’ and ‘Shaun of the Dead’. 'Zhabibi' is an elevated social wedding comedy set against a zombie backdrop, adding an exciting twist to the genre. The screenplay is penned by talented Lebanese screenwriter Fuad Halwani. Pre-production is set to start in March 2024.
